What is a beard implant?

It is recommended to wait until age 22 to have beard transplantation. After the doctor’s examination, it can be decided whether beard transplantation can be performed on people with hormonal disorders, heart diseases, and diabetes.
PROCESS AND HEALING AFTER BEARD TRANSPLANTATION
After the beard and moustache transplantation, there is no sizeable visible scar, and the healing process is speedy. Temporary symptoms such as redness, swelling, and dryness may occur, but these symptoms disappear entirely within a few days.
Unlike hair transplantation, since the transplanted area is the face and the face is more sensitive, there may be swelling in the first 2-3 days. However, these symptoms are minimized with the patient’s compliance with the recommendations after the process, medicine use and ice applications.

The period of 2-3 weeks will satisfy the patient, make him receive positive feedback from around, and understand that he has made the right decision by having the operation.
However, there will be a period of shedding for a brief time in the transplanted hair follicles in the area where beard transplantation is performed. Patients may lose up to 50-80% of the beard follicles transplanted during this period. However, as of the 3rd and 4th months, this transplanted hair will begin to grow again.
